When you open your eyes in the morning, where does your mind go?
For a lot of us—it’s already off to the races. What needs to get done. Who needs something. What’s stressing you out. It’s like the day starts before you even move.
That’s why I always tell people—start talking to God before your feet hit the floor.
Seriously. Before the dogs. Before the coffee. Before the phone. Just start right there.
“Good morning, Lord. Thanks for waking me up again. Here’s what I got today. Here’s what’s heavy. Here’s who I need to pray for.”
I go through it all—my schedule, anything I’m dreading, even the random stuff that’s bugging me. That conversation resets my whole day.
Because here’s the thing: God already knows it all anyway.
He’s not surprised by your stress. He’s not waiting for you to clean it up first. He just wants you to bring it to Him. And then—be quiet long enough to hear what He says back.
But man, it’s hard to hear Him when your head’s spinning, right?
If your mind is loud, you’re probably missing the still, small voice that’s trying to lead you through it all. Not with pressure. Not with panic. But with peace.
And that peace doesn’t show up when we’re trying to control everything. That’s the trap.
You end up managing the chaos instead of surrendering it. Planning everything to death and wondering why it still feels heavy.
But God’s not asking you to run the show.
He’s inviting you to walk with Him through it—calm, steady, and free.

🔥 Final Thoughts:
The world’s loud. You don’t have to be. Start your day surrendered, not stressed. Let God rewrite your to-do list. Let Him interrupt your plans. Let Him give you peace that doesn’t make sense.
